Brochure of Kingston University, London

Why choose this course?

This Bachelor of Business Administration BBA (Hons.) course aims to develop competent managers for general business administration and management, capable of working in a contemporary international context. It provides a broad but comprehensive business and management programme with an international focus.

You can choose to follow either a three or four-year route, depending mainly on whether you want to take a final year work placement. If you change your mind, you can switch routes before you start your third year. Students who have completed two years of a similar course overseas can transfer to Kingston University for the final year of this degree.

All of these above makes this course a valuable proposition. The innovative teaching and quality education provided with an international context will help the student transform himself into a true global citizen.

What will you study?

In the first two years, you will study a broad range of business subjects, including

  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Human resource management
  • Operations management
  • Culture and International business
  • An optional foreign language

You consolidate and enhance your studies in the third year, examining strategic management issues and studying an international business subject in depth. You may also be able to gain some knowledge and skills in management consultancy. You can choose to specialise in a particular business functional area through your choice of elective modules.

In the optional fourth year you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills to a real business organisation by undertaking a work placement. Building on this experience, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of a relevant business and management issue by writing a business administration management report.
