Institute of International Studies (IIS) has collaborated with the University of Canberra to offer integrated Bachelors and Masters program. In these unique programs, the first two years are conducted at the SVKM campus, Mumbai and the remaining two and half years at University of Canberra, Australia. A pioneering institution with its integrated e-learning methodology in its course delivery, IIS has created a niche for itself among the SVKM institutes.

The available University of Canberra degrees offered are:

  • Bachelor of Accounting, and
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The program has two major components, a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. In the first part, students will study a comprehensive and integrated set of units designed to produce professional accountants. These units will develop students’ technical and professional skills in accounting, law, auditing, finance and related areas, such as statistics and economics. When students enter the MBA, the focus will shift to the development of managerial skills with an emphasis on entrepreneurship.

    • Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum of 70%
    • India School Certificate with a minimum of 65%
    • All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) with an overall grade of 10 (or overall percentage of 65%) in best four externally examined subjects.
    • International Baccalaureate: 26 IB points overall.

      English Requirements

    • Academic IELTS or equivalent of 6.0 with no band score below 6.0. Other requirements
    • Candidate must pass the selection process at SVKM’s IIS which includes assessment of application form and a personal interview.
    • Candidates must meet Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirements and obtain a student visa in order to progress to the Australian-based component of the program.

    Document requirement

    The following documents are required to be submitted along with the application form:

    • Copy of Pan Card
    • Copy of Aadhar Card
    • Copy of Valid Passport
    • Copy of the XII Std. or equivalent examination
    • Leaving certificate of the last attended institution (Original)
    • Copy of Certificates proving the required English proficiency
    • Duly filled Identity Application form along with two Passport photographs
    • Duly signed IIS rule book

    Note: The originals of above mentioned documents must be produced at the time of admission.

    Prior to progressing to the Australian-based component of the program the candidate will need to provide documentation relating to the GTE requirement including evidence of financial capacity and a Statement of Purpose.

  • Cancellation policy of IIS
  • 100% refund – 15 days from the date of Admission. However the deduction of Rs. 10,000/- towards the processing fees will be made.
  • 75% refund – 16 days to 30 days from the date of Admission.
  • 0% refund after 31st Day of Admission.
  • Note:

  • No refund will be made for the GST or such other indirect taxes.
  • By the expression “date of admission” is meant the formal date on which the student has taken admission in the college by paying the Full or part fees.
  • All deductions will be subject to the percentage of total amount of fees charged for the Level 4 of the program.
